Small place. Really great food. The owners are amazing. All the food is made fresh. I do like that they have many different sauces too choose from. We tried them all! Good prices too.

Nice people& great food

Walked in to try this place for lunch. Ordered a chicken Taco Salad and said I'd like Ranch Dressing and the guy looked at me like I was from Mars - very disdainfully. So then I asked him what kind of dressings they had, and he pulled on his shirt to further mock my questions by apparently trying to make a joke and make me look stupid for asking.. We left and will NEVER BE BACK. A total jerk. If I ran my business with that kind of customer disrespect I'd living in my car in a week. I hope they go broke.

We absolutely loved this place when we lived here and had to come back while on vacation. Nothing has changed and thank god for that. Joe is the nicest guy you could meet and the food is authentic and out of this world. Thanks for the great food and great service.

Placed an order for two egg, chorizo and potato burritos and one bean and cheese. Also asked for some of their salsa on the side he said of course. Husband gets home No Sauces. These burritos are so bland no flavor what’s so ever. Maybe if he would have giving us the salsa as I asked for it. It would had giving the food some taste. No returning to this place.Unhappy customer :(

Good food, casual atmosphere

Was not expecting paper plates and plastic utensils. I had a enchilada and a tostada, which were piled on top of one another. The sauce was flavorable . But can say, we won't be back.

My family and I found Don Jose's in 2005 and have visited at least once a month ever since. We love all their food but the classic bean and cheese burrito is an all time favorite.

Mediocre food, good prices. We would not drive out of the way to go there!

Just ok. chimichanga was not crispy. Fish was not fresh. Refried beans and tamale was good.

The food had good flavor. I had their enchiladas with their house made sauce. Spicy, and with good flavor, not just heat. Good prices. Nice lunch.

Oh my, the best chimichanga ever. All their food is made from scratch...the owner and his wife make everything. They treat all customers like family. Can't wait to go again.

This place is very clean, very nice staff, this takes 5th in my favorite Mexican places. Thiers no seasoning on the beef tacos........ but...... the tacos taste like hamburger tacos

Very much no frills but amazing food. It’s hard to find places like this in the east coast. I highly recommend if you need a place to eat while visiting parents in Sun City.

Poor service the owner always has a long face but besides that food is good

Stopped by for a breakfast burrito with my 2 four legged friends. I was already to share when to my surprise a little something extra 🌯 ended up on the tray for them. We dined outside on the patio area under the canapoy of a tree all enjoying our breakfast. Glad I stopped and gave Don Jose's a try.

By far one of the best Mexican food places in Phoenix. Tried it for the first time this weekend and so glad we did. Food was excellent and the service even better. Will make this a regular eating out stop from now on. Tortillas were better than Carolinas and Chile Verde was incredible.

First time there but it was great! I got the carnitas plate, my sister got the chicken chimichanga and my friend got the pork adoba burrito. All items were yummy! Friendly customer service. When we're in the area again we'll come back for more.

Delicious tacos as always! Great portion sizes for the price and perfect stop for lunch if you need a place that is quick that isn't fast food drive through type stuff.Friendly stuff and good tacos makes for a great combo!

The top of my list when it comes to food, service and cleanliness. The menu has plenty of options and the food is the best Mexican food I have ever tasted! I would highly reccomend Don Jose's to anyone!

I really love the Chile Relleno burrito. Most things I've tried here are delicious.

I haven' been back to Mission, KS since 1990 and am so Happy this place is still going strong! Eating here will be my first stop when arriving later this month!!!!!! Can't Wait!!!!!!!!! Will post pictures then.....

Very fresh chicken burrito! Awesome taste and a very friendly owner. Heck, they even have grilled jalapenos for free in their salsa bar :).

The owner is amazing... Food is fabulous and I can honestly even say it's made with love and passion... It's family owned by a vet who loves the company and takes pride in his establishment and you can see it... The mar y Tierra burrito are amazing but if you have shrimp allergies don't get...
